Cauliflower rice. So healthy, so delicious and so freaking messy to make! Not anymore! We love cauliflower rice and cauliflower pizza here at BlankIt! Concepts but it was such a hassle to make that it was a once in awhile treat. Chopping it by hand or pulsing it in a food processor left tiny white granules absolutely everywhere and clean up would take forever! Pre-packaged cauliflower rice? Too dang expensive and the portions are too small! So what's our hack?
It requires 2 things. A blender - and of course... our nut milk sacks! Wash your cauliflower and cut it into florets (cutting from the underside is easier and less messy). Depending on how strong your blender is, cut your florets into a size that your blender can handle. Add about 2-3 cups of water and quickly blend it until it's 'riced.' Then, just dump the soupy cauliflower rice water into your nut sack and squeeze the water out. Voila! Cauliflower rice. Done! Since our nut milk sacks are so large, we also rinse our blender stick and cap in the sack to catch any leftover particles. The micron weave of our nut sacks is perfectly sized to squeeze all the water out without losing any of the rice. Afterwards either microwave it for 8 minutes or fry it with some veggies for some delicious cauliflower fried rice. Enjoy!
